Just a drop in today to share a few pictures from my trip and say happy friday!
These pictures were taken near Colorado Springs in the Garden of the Gods.
It is truly a happy friday as I have tomorrow off work! At long last I'll have a chance to lay some final washes on a few paintings (including a little Narwhal) and pull some new ideas out of my sketchbook onto nicer paper. I so look forward to the days when I'm free to paint!
And I can guarantee these mountains will find their way into at least one painting...
they are breathtakingly beautiful. If only I could take your hand and show you them in person.
