New beginnings...

After a recent conversation with artist Cori Dantini, I have been inspired to create some new pieces that are more standard sizes.  4x4.  It's exciting to begin fresh pieces (especially so many). 

 So I've been taking pieces from old books and music sheets that would have otherwise been thrown out or given away (or made a good snack for a mouse). 

And I cut and glue and paint and imagine what they will turn into...



Getting organized

Well, it is time to get organized!

I realized it after spending some time in the studio, thinking about what a mess it was and about aaaaallll the things I should be doing INSTEAD of sitting there doing nothing.

So what, I asked myself, am I supposed to do now? I have everything I need, and yet....the motivation is gone. Seems to have evaporated.

First things first: GET ORGANIZED.

My crap overwhelms me when it is simply laying everywhere.

So that is step one...

ahhh....much better!

We shall see about step 2.
