Noreen

I'm way too excited for these pet portraits to commence.  I can't even wait!  But I must, and I'll be announcing my winners on June 28th and will at that time officially list "custom pet portraits" in the shop.  Until then, I just had to paint Noreen.  I wanted to play around a little with the composition and give you an example of perhaps what your pet portrait might look like (at least for the cat lovers out there).  I snapped that top picture of Noreen last time I paid her (oh yeah, and Corrie too) a visit in the big cit-ay.  Noreen was totally absorbed in bird-watching and, until I got her favorite jingle bell feather toy out, she hardly noticed my presence at all.  That cat's got a one-track mind, but we love her so.
