A surprise and a new painting...

Yesterday I received a much anticipated package in the mail.

It took exactly 8 days to get, I'll have you know (not that I was counting).

Now, my faithful fellow bloggers, you are the first to know of my little surprise...

I'm sure you can guess, but I can't reveal the truth of what I'm up to just yet,

except to say that I think you'll be excited...

and you may see a change in my shop very soon.

But hang tight, and I promise you'll be the first to know of my surprise.

In the mean time, I am painting painting painting in my lovely studio!

Resting eggs...

Here's a new painting on sale in my shop!

Once I get my scanner hooked up to my new computer

(which means I have to find my desk first...I know its under those

stacks of paper somewhere), I'll be able to share some of my latest work.

And finally I can begin freshening up my shop!  (It needs it huh?)

turning the page...

I feel I've turned a page in my life...or maybe I'm about to turn a page. Either way, things are happening. I can just feel it. I've been doing quite a bit of painting and drawing lately...not to mention buying. New pencils, new paper, new art boards. Plus a new palette of my favorite watercolors! 

So exciting...

But I'm not finished yet with the work.
